The Society’s Board of Trustees is delighted to announce the appointment of a new General Manager, to replace Mr Nicholas Smith, who left us in February to take up another appointment. Our new General Manager is Mr David Newton (pictured), whose earlier career was in the Royal Navy (including a posting as Naval and Air Attaché in the British Embassy in Muscat). He took up his position in the Society in early May, and we take this opportunity to welcome him and to wish him the very best in his new appointment.
