The Society hosted the Omani British Press Forum panel discussion, Q&A and evening reception, chaired by the Thomson Foundation, discussing 'How the Private & Public UK Media Navigate Editorial Pressures from Funders, Sponsors, Regulators, Advertisers & Other Stakeholders.' The event, televised in Oman and the first of its kind in the UK, was a climatic and fitting culmination to the visit of 40 Omani journalists to the UK. The Society would like to thank the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman Embassy for facilitating the event.
